SAP Architecture

When we discuss about SAP architecture.There already have users such as clients and servers.Then we can call it as Client-Server environment.

  • Client - It includes hardware and software - Request for service
  • Server - This also contain hardware and software - Provide a services to a group of clients.
This SAP software develop as a Three-Tier structure(figure 01)

  • GUI- Graphical User Interface
  • Application Server
  • Database Server

Presentation means GUI.There has centralized database to retrieve data for all applications installed in the computers.
